  1. Materuni Waterfalls

    • Height: The waterfall stands approximately 90 meters tall, providing a spectacular sight as water cascades down the rocky cliff into a pristine pool below.
    • Hike: The trek to the waterfall is a moderate hike through lush rainforest and banana plantations, typically taking about 45 minutes to an hour each way. Along the way, you’ll encounter stunning landscapes, diverse flora, and possibly local wildlife.
    • Swimming: Upon reaching the waterfall, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pool at the base of the falls, making it a perfect spot to relax and cool off.
  2. Coffee Tour

    • Coffee Plantations: The tour includes a visit to local coffee farms where you’ll learn about the entire coffee production process, from bean cultivation to brewing.
    • Traditional Methods: Experience the traditional methods of coffee processing used by the Chagga people, including hand-picking the coffee cherries, drying, roasting, and grinding the beans.

  • Tour Duration: Typically, the tour lasts about 6-8 hours, including the hike to the waterfall, the coffee tour, and time spent in the village.

Additional notes:

  • Your first day on safari requires you to pay extra attention to both our company’s recommendations and the visitor regulations for the national parks.
  • Except for in officially designated sites, it is strictly prohibited to exit the vehicle during the safari. Large fines for the company and even the loss of its license may result from violations of this provision.
  • Off-road driving is also not allowed because such actions could seriously upset the delicate ecosystem’s balance.
  • You are permitted to smoke during the safari, but you must take special care to put out and dispose of cigarette butts because they frequently start fires in the savanna.
  • Furthermore, we respectfully request that you do not place your feet on the safari cars’ seats or sit in the back of them, as this type of behavior quickly renders the vehicles unusable.
