Tarangire Safari
Tarangire National Park is a scenic wildlife haven in northern Tanzania, covering about 2,850 km² and forming part of the famous northern safari circuit alongside Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. It’s defined by ancient baobab trees, rolling savanna plains, seasonal swamps, and the life-giving Tarangire River, which draws abundant wildlife — especially in the dry season.
Located roughly 118 km southwest of Arusha, it’s easily accessible by road (about 2–2.5 hours), making it a perfect first stop or standalone safari destination.
