Rough and Dusty Safaris Terms and Conditions 

1. Booking and Confirmation

1.1. To book a tour with , clients must complete and submit a booking form along with the required deposit, which is typically 20% of the total tour cost.

1.2. Confirmation of the booking will be sent to the client via email once the deposit has been received.

1.3. The remaining balance of the tour cost must be paid no later than 30 days before the tour departure date. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the booking.

2. Cancellation and Refunds

2.1. Cancellations must be made in writing and sent to info@roughandustysafaris.com. The date of cancellation will be the date on which the written notification is received.

2.2. Cancellation charges are as follows:

  • More than 30 days before departure: Deposit is non-refundable.
  • 15 to 30 days before departure: 50% of the tour cost is non-refundable.
  • Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of the tour cost is non-refundable.

2.3. In the event that Rough and Dusty Safaris cancels a tour for any reason, a full refund will be provided to the client.

3. Changes to Itinerary

3.1. Rough and Dusty Safaris reserves the right to modify tour itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or other factors beyond our control. Clients will be informed of any changes as soon as possible.

3.2. If a significant change to the itinerary is made before departure (e.g., change of tour dates), clients may choose to accept the change or request a full refund.

4. Travel Insurance

4.1. It is mandatory for all clients to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and evacuation expenses.

5. Health and Medical Requirements

5.1. Clients are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and medically fit for the tour. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed to Rough and Dusty Safaris before booking.

5.2. Clients must inform Rough and Dusty Safaris of any special dietary requirements or allergies when booking.

6. Travel Documentation

6.1. Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have the required passports, visas, and other travel documents necessary for entry into Tanzania. Rough and Dusty Safaris can provide guidance, but it is the client’s responsibility to obtain the necessary documents.

7. Code of Conduct

7.1. Clients are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner throughout the tour. Rough and Dusty Safaris reserves the right to remove any client from the tour if their behavior is deemed disruptive or unsafe, with no refund provided.

8. Liability

8.1. Rough and Dusty Safaris is not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or delay arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, and acts of terrorism.

9. Complaints

9.1. Any complaints or issues should be reported to Rough and Dusty Safaris immediately to allow for timely resolution.

10. Jurisdiction

10.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tanzanian courts.

By booking a tour with Rough and Dusty Safaris, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
