Detailed Itinerary

Your Kilimanjaro adventure commences at the Umbwe Gate. The trail leads you through dense rainforests, teeming with exotic flora and fauna. It’s a day filled with excitement and anticipation as you make your way to Umbwe Camp.

On day two, you continue your ascent through the lush rainforest, gradually gaining altitude. The sights and sounds of the jungle will surround you as you head towards Barranco Camp, nestled in a picturesque valley.

This day presents a unique challenge – the Barranco Wall. You’ll ascend this imposing natural obstacle, requiring some rock scrambling skills. Once atop, the terrain levels out, and you’ll trek to Karanga Camp

Acclimatization is crucial for your success on Kilimanjaro. Spend an extra day at Karanga Camp to adapt to the altitude, ensuring a safer and more comfortable journey ahead.

The most challenging day has arrived. You’ll head to Barafu Camp, your last stop before the summit bid. As night falls, the ascent begins, and you’ll trek under the starlit sky to reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa.

After basking in the glory of your achievement at the summit, it’s time to descend. The Mweka Route offers a less challenging path for your descent. You’ll pass through various ecological zones, eventually reaching Mweka Gate, where your Kilimanjaro adventure concludes.
