Detailed Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with immigration procedures and transfer you to your accommodation in Karatu, a charming town nestled near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Take the evening to relax and prepare for your upcoming adventure.

After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its majestic baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Spend the day exploring the park’s diverse landscapes, including grassy savannahs, acacia woodlands, and the meandering Tarangire River. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, and other predators as you traverse the park in search of wildlife encounters. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wilderness before continuing your game drive in the afternoon. As the day draws to a close, head back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Rise early and depart for the Ndutu region, a prime destination for witnessing the Great Wildebeest Migration from December to March. Located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem, Ndutu offers unparalleled opportunities to witness dramatic wildlife spectacles as vast herds of wildebeest and zebra gather to graze on the nutrient-rich grasslands. Spend two days exploring this iconic landscape, following the movements of the migrating herds and encountering an array of predators, including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Enjoy picnic lunches in the bush and immerse yourself in the natural wonders of the Serengeti. In the evenings, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay, where you can recount the day’s adventures under the starlit African sky.

Depart early for the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “eighth wonder of the world.” Descend into the crater floor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and marvel at its astonishing biodiversity, including an abundance of wildlife such as elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and an array of predators. Explore the crater’s diverse habitats, from open grasslands to dense forests, and encounter some of Africa’s most iconic species in their natural habitat. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the stunning scenery of the crater before ascending back to the rim in the afternoon. As the day draws to a close, return to your accommodation in Karatu for a relaxing evening and farewell dinner.

After breakfast, bid farewell to the captivating landscapes of Tanzania as you transfer from Karatu to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey. Reflect on the unforgettable memories and incredible wildlife experiences you’ve encountered during your safari adventure in Tanzania.
