Your Kilimanjaro expedition commences at the Londorossi Gate. The trail winds through lush rainforests filled with unique flora and fauna. After a gradual ascent, you’ll reach the Mti Mkubwa Camp, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle as you rest for the night.

The path takes you out of the rainforest and onto the expansive Shira Plateau. Daylight brings breathtaking panoramic views of Kilimanjaro’s volcanic cones. Your destination is the Shira 1 Camp, where you’ll spend the night amidst the rugged beauty of the plateau

Proper acclimatization is vital for a successful Kilimanjaro ascent. Spend an extra day at Shira 2 Camp to adapt to the altitude and prepare your body for the journey ahead

Today’s trek takes you to the Lava Tower, an imposing volcanic formation. While you won’t sleep here, the altitude gain and descent will aid in acclimatization. You’ll then descend to Barranco Camp for a well-deserved rest.

On this day, you’ll tackle the iconic Barranco Wall, a thrilling climb that requires some rock scrambling skills. Once you conquer the wall, the terrain levels out as you head to Karanga Camp, surrounded by breathtaking vistas.

The most challenging day has arrived. You’ll make your way to Barafu Camp, your last stop before the summit push. As night falls, you’ll begin your ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Witnessing the sunrise from the rooftop of the continent is an unforgettable moment. After reaching the summit, you’ll descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.

The final leg of your journey takes you through the Mweka Route. You’ll pass through the rainforest zone, where you might spot Colobus monkeys. Finally, at Mweka Gate, your Kilimanjaro adventure concludes, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.
